It may have been a little windy and chilly, but that didn’t stop people from coming out for the Harvest Market on September 26 on Chestermere’s Main Street, alongside a vintage car show at John Peake Park.
It was great to see so many vendors out showcasing their businesses, products and services. Vice President Michelle Evans and I spent a couple of hours wandering through the market, checking out some great booths and, of course, sampling a few of the local treats along the way.
From dill pickle soup at Dunn & Company to the most amazing apple pie coffee, it was definitely a treat kind of day!
One of the things I really enjoyed was discovering just how many storefront and home-based businesses are operating right here in Chestermere, and learning more about the products and services they offer.
The Harvest Market was beautifully decorated with a terrific fall theme, with plenty of great photo opportunities and a fun atmosphere for the community. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the season and support local businesses at the same time.
It was also great to spend some time at the market with Mayor Shannon Dean and see the community coming together to support local vendors and entrepreneurs.
A big thank you to the City of Chestermere and Nu-Gen Dental for organizing such a terrific event and bringing our community together. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
