Code of Conduct

The Chestermere Chamber of Commerce is committed to fostering a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members, partners, and community participants. By participating in Chamber activities, events, or programs, you agree to the following standards:

1. Respect and Professionalism
2. • Treat all members, guests, and staff with courtesy and respect.
   • Maintain professional behaviour in all interactions, both in-person and online.

3. • Support an environment free from discrimination, harassment, or intimidation based on race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
3. Integrity
4. • Conduct business honestly and ethically.
   • Represent your business and the Chamber accurately and responsibly.
4. Confidentiality
5. • Respect confidential information shared within the Chamber and its events.
   • Do not disclose private business or personal information without permission.
5. Compliance
6. • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations in Alberta and Canada.
   • Follow Chamber policies, guidelines, and event rules.
6. Conflict Resolution
7. • Address concerns or conflicts respectfully. Members should report any breaches of this Code to the Chamber office for resolution.

Consequences
Violations of this Code may result in removal from Chamber events, suspension of membership privileges, or other actions deemed appropriate by the Chamber Board.
